Discover New England, a nonprofit cooperative that promotes New England tourism internationally, asked Marshall Communications to update their website for mobile responsiveness, reorganization of the vast amount of information on its pages, and easier content administration. In partnership with the state tourism offices of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont, Discover New England enables New England’s travel and tourism industry to reach the global market and attract more international visitors. With a mission of reaching members of the professional travel trade as well as members of the general public, we developed a large-scale open design in Drupal 7 CMS with a wide variety of photography and an improved sitewide search function.
The site is localized for German visitors (neuengland.de), and as with all our redesigns, was carefully tended at launch to ensure no drop-off of SEO results occurred. Visit the site at www.discovernewengland.org and www.neuenglandusa.de.
