AUGUSTA, Maine – In recognition of their years of outstanding client service and public relations expertise, Whitney Moreau and Greg Glynn, APR, have been promoted to account supervisors at Marshall Communications (Marshall Communications). The position requires strong leadership skills, a record of successful public relations campaign strategies and the ability to lead teams in exceeding client expectations. Moreau and Glynn will take lead roles in team mentoring and Marshall Communications growth management.
Nancy Marshall, CEO of Marshall Communications states, “Whitney and Greg have both proven they have the intellect, the skills and the grit required to do this job that demands sharp thinking skills and an intense focus on serving our clients. I am proud of both of them and it gives me great pleasure to see them advance in their careers.”
Moreau joined Marshall Communications in 2011 as an account coordinator and quickly found her niche in travel and tourism marketing. She was promoted to account executive in 2012. She now serves as an international marketing representative for the Maine Office of Tourism, traveling to attend travel trade and consumer shows in France, Germany, the UK, Scandinavia and Australia. While overseas, Moreau is charged with promoting Maine as a tourism destination within these markets, educating the tour operators, agents and media on everything the state has to offer.
Moreau states, “As I’m nearing my six-year work anniversary at Marshall Communications, I’m eager to see and take part in the future growth of the agency and our team. I look forward to continuing our work with great clients in Maine, New England and beyond in this new capacity.”
Moreau has an MBA from Thomas College and lives in Oakland.
Before joining Marshall Communications in 2009, Glynn was the vice president of communications for the Portland Pirates. With a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from Quinnipiac University, he is the go-to person for all things broadcast – from managing radio and television interviews and holding professional media training for clients, to filming, recording and editing Marshall Communications aired content. In 2016, he received his Accreditation in Public Relations through the Public Relations Society of America and is now one of 5,000+ professionals who are nationally accredited in the field of public relations.
Glynn adds, “I really enjoy the opportunity to work on public relations and marketing strategies that help businesses and organizations achieve their goals and, most importantly, measure the return on their investment. Today, you have to be thinking at least one or two steps ahead and our terrific staff helps our clients do that, every day.”
Glynn lives in Augusta with his wife Cindy and daughter Kelsey.
