“We are thrilled to kickoff the World Pro Ski Tour at Waterville Valley and start the first full-season for the tour. The ski industry is growing rapidly and one of the reasons why is the number of talented American and international ski racers, including many of the competitors this weekend. With the Olympics right around the corner, this is a great chance for ski racing fans to come see these world-class athletes right in their backyard,” said Ed Rogers, president of the World Pro Ski Tour. “Our main goal is to stimulate the ski industry by providing young racers an opportunity to experience financial success in order to pursue their dreams.”

The World Pro Ski Tour has two other scheduled tour events this season on March 8-10 in Aspen Snowmass in Colorado and March 29-31 at Sunday River in Maine. The World Pro Ski Tour is supported by premier sponsors Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Maine Office of Tourism and Greenhead Lobster and many other tour partners.
