KINGFIELD, Maine – Maine Huts & Trails welcomes Maine cookbook author Christine Burns Rudalevige to Poplar Hut on Saturday, July 1, 2017, for a special cooking demonstration and dinner straight from her new cookbook, Green Plate Special.
After hiking or mountain biking into Maine Huts & Trails guests will enjoy learning from seasoned food writer, Christine Burns Rudalevige. Her book, Green Plate Special, is a collection of sustainable and delicious recipes served alongside green tips and tricks, which pairs perfectly with Maine Huts & Trails’ mission.
Tickets start at $120 ($108 for members) per person, which includes overnight lodging at Poplar Hut, dinner presentation, breakfast, lunch and signed copy of Christine Burns Rudalevige’s cookbook, Green Plate Special.
“We’re happy to help with the cookbook launch,” stated Cayce Frigon, director of communications and marketing for Maine Huts & Trails. “Not only will guests learn different ways to minimize food waste but they will also receive a signed copy of the book. And, even if you can’t make it to the event, we’ll be featuring a few of the recipes at our family-style dinners at each of our huts throughout the summer months.”
