White Papers Your Image
When you are presenting your company or organization's image to the world, you need to have consistency in the look of all your materials. Your logo should always be presented the same, and you should have consistent colors, typestyles, and messages. Think about the "Golden Arches" at McDonald's. They are the same whether you see them in Farmington, Maine or in Beverly Hills, California. They are even the same in Paris, France and London, England!
Consistency in image is part of the branding of your company. Each time your targeted audience sees your logo, you want to make an impression on them. If your logo is always presented the same, you are more likely to make a lasting image.
Think of your logo as your name. Do you change your name from day to day? No! So don't change your logo either. You'll be more likely to break through the massive amounts of promotional messages that your targeted audience is seeing and hearing each day.
