BAR HARBOR, Maine -
"The creation of Eden Spa truly completes the Bluenose Inn as a full-service destination of maximum relaxation for new and returning guests," stated Kent Leonard, general manager. "The beautiful views, unique design, and soothing atmosphere of the spa elegantly compliment the friendly and welcoming experience we have established and continually hone at the Inn. Our guests are going to love Eden Spa." For massage services, Eden Spa offers the choice of a single massage room or the very popular couple's room. All massage therapists on the Eden team offer Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, and Warm Stone. The spa team includes two returning massage therapists, Shawn Ravenscraft and Ami Willard, who look forward to welcoming back their massage therapy guests as well as provide services to the hotel's new guests. The massage therapists are working with organic massage cream, along with aromatherapy blends and therapeutic grade, organic essential oil blends. The nail services use a vegan, natural-based nail care line. The spa will be operated in a "green" manner, with conscientious energy use and organic, environmentally-friendly products used whenever possible. The spa will be open seven days per week with hours varying by season and by appointment. Spa services can also be enjoyed in the guest rooms of the Inn. Complimentary mini chair massages will also be offered to all hotel guests at select times. "We are extremely proud to offer Eden Spa and its services to the guests of the Bluenose as well as the general public. All therapists are Maine licensed and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the facility," said James Ash, regional manager of the Lafayette Hotels, the Maine-based parent company of the Bluenose Inn. "To welcome hotel guests to the new spa, a $40 credit toward a massage for each adult is being offered to all guests of the Bluenose this year."
