BANGOR, Maine - The Lafayette Family Foundation is participating in the 2012 Dunkin' Donuts "Community Mug Program." The program supports local non-profits in the community.
Dunkin' Donuts and their independent business owners of Maine and New Hampshire have generously donated the mugs to be sold at Lafayette Hotels' properties. One-hundred percent of the purchase price will go to the Lafayette Family Foundation to benefit cancer research and treatment at the EMMC CancerCare of Maine's Lafayette Family Cancer Center in Brewer, Maine.

Lafayette Hotels' properties are offering the mugs for purchase at their front desks.
Mugs entitle the owner to one free hot coffee every Sunday in 2012 at participating Dunkin' Donut locations in Maine and Coos and Carroll counties in New Hampshire.
"We are excited that Dunkin' Donuts selected us for this program - it will be a fun, creative way to raise money for the Foundation, as well as the Lafayette Family Cancer Center," said Lafayette Family Foundation Administrator/Coordinator Carole Piasecki. "People are excited about getting free coffee and being able to help a worthy cause at the same time."
Maine properties included in the program are the Comfort Inn Ocean's Edge in Belfast, Black Bear Inn Conference Center & Suites in Orono, Fireside Inn & Suites and Best Western White House Inn in Bangor, Fireside Inn & Suites in Waterville, Fireside Inn & Suites in Auburn, Holiday Inn by the Bay and Fireside Inn & Suites in Portland, Best Western Merry Manor Inn in South Portland, Lafayette's Oceanfront Resort in Wells Beach, Seacastles Resort in Ogunquit, and Senator Inn & Spa in Augusta.
