Marshall PlansWhen the Community School and Opportunity Farm wanted to announce their merger, NMC coordinated the media event.

  • Media advisories
  • Press releases
  • Press kits
  • Targeted media lists
  • Phone calls to media
  • Event logistics
  • Branding touchpoints
  • Giveaways and handouts
  • Video footage
  • Photography services
  • Talking points for speakers
  • Media relations at the event
  • Scheduling interviews
  • Follow up with media about the story
  • Tracking of media results

Recent examples of media event planning:

In April, Nancy Marshall Communications worked with The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers in Waterville to plan a press conference to announce the installation of the agency’s new heating system. The new energy efficient system was estimated to save the adoption agency over $10,000 per year. By strategically scheduling the press conference in conjunction with Earth Day, the press conference generated a great deal of media coverage and helped further educate people about the agency.

Nancy Marshall Communications has worked closely with Olympian Julia Clukey as part of her involvement in the Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association's responsibility campaign. In working with members of the association, the Nancy Marshall Communications team has scheduled and generated media coverage for several of Julia's school presentations and several other unique public relations opportunities, including a cooking segment on the WCSH 6's "207" and throwing out the first pitch at a Portland Sea Dogs game.
