Thank you for coming to Nancy Marshall Communications. I’m pleased to share a snapshot of our work, our professional team and our Public Relations, Web Development, and Marketing Services with you.

I started the agency in 1991, specializing in media relations for the tourism and outdoor recreation industries. Our expertise grew into economic development, and then all things related to the State of Maine. The State of Maine Office of Tourism has been a client since 1993. In 2009, Critical Insights, a Portland-based research agency, found that we were Maine’s most recognized name of all Maine Advertising and PR Agencies.

We’ve highlighted our services for you here, but we really want to meet with you face to face — getting to know you as a prospective client allows us to develop a customized proposal to handle all of your public relations and communications, including your website and internet marketing.

Public Relations

Telling your story is a critical component of building your brand, developing critical relationships or establishing credibility. There’s no better way to tell your story then through a strategically-crafted and expertly-implemented Public Relations program.

We have developed and implemented PR programs for clients for nearly 30 years. With 15 people and nearly 100 combined years of experience, we have generated results for clients in local, statewide, national and international media since our founding in 1991.

Our Marshall Plan is an exclusive process of developing a customized strategic marketing communications program that takes advantage of your knowledge of your organization or product, and our vast experience in PR and Marketing.

We specialize in Maine: whether you want to communicate in Maine, or communicate from Maine to the world, or communicate from the world to Maine people. We have the knowledge and expertise to become your Maine strategic PR partner.

Web Development

We couldn’t fulfill our clients’ expectations unless we had a total command of website design and development, and the interactive marketing techniques that are emerging each and every day. We are a full-service website development firm, and we start with a customized strategic plan to help you reach your goals.

Since content is King on the Web, why not choose a firm that has been developing quality content for nearly 20 years?

We’ll build you a new website and an Internet Marketing program that includes Search Engine Optimization, Cost-Per-Click Advertising, e-newsletters and ongoing analysis of your site.

Marketing Services

Any good public relations program will require marketing services, whether it’s the development of a press kit, a trade show display booth, a direct mail campaign, a brochure or an annual report. Our team of copywriters, graphic designers, account strategists and support staff know how to work as a team to make your marketing campaign successful. Strategy is important, but the Devil is in the details. We take great care to make sure every detail is implemented.

Not to mention that we own and operate a printing business, so we have a direct line to the press operator (when was the last time your print job was late because the print shop couldn’t meet your deadline?) And lest we forget, we have our own in-house staff of geeks who can make your dreams come true through technology.
